Assignment:
- The purpose of this meeting was to give attendees enough of a foundation to plan out a well-designed email marketing campaign.
- Before setting up your autoresponder, you need to plan and design the email content and format for your audience. Then you need to create your first few emails.
1. The tutorial on the right - Case Study /Tutorial on Email Newsletter Design by Industry should be done first. This is to teach the student what format and content best suits his target market.
2. Next, the checklist at the top should be done. After assessing your competition, you should have a good idea of what you want your emails to be like.
3. Create your first 2-3 emails to go to your list. You might be just offering an ebook - only one email. If this is the case, write your ebook.
4. Write the content for your opt-in success page.
5. Write the content for your confirmation email if you are using double opt-in.
6. Go to aWeber and watch the tutorial videos.
